Definition Strong | strôNG| Adjective (stronger| ‘ strôNGger|,| strongest | stroNGgist|) 1 having the power to move heavy weights or preform other physically demanding tasks 2 able to withstand great force or pressure 3 very intense I personally hate those definitions. Whoever wrote that deserves to get a good knock to the head. My definition of strong is different. Strong is the girl who pulls a man from a burning house. Strong is the guy who protects his 3-year-old sister from their abusive dad. Strong is the 911 operator who guides the sobbing 9-year-old through CPR on their mother. Strong is to the girl who battles her eating disorder every single day, telling her self that she is beautiful just the way she is. Strong is the boy who battles his depression, telling him he shouldn’t be here, which in return he says, “ I am worth it. I am deserve to live.” Strong is the girl battling her DID, accepting her alters, loving them, protecting them. Strong is the girl who takes care of her siblings while her mothers off fighting a war. Strong is boy who tells others they are beautiful, even though he thinks he’s not. Strong is the girl who hugs everyone and tells them they are perfect just the way they are. You are strong. You are beautiful. You are worth it. You deserve to be here. Don’t let anyone tell you different.
