When the city sleeps and you hear yourself, You realise the burden You unknowingly bear You feel trapped Amidst the glitter and the glare Trying to break free From the illusional fear. One ray of hope Gives you the courage To fight the world And the world within. To stir yourself With grit and grin. To look up And to look down To Know the reasons behind your frown. In the silence of darkness You finally hear; The truth you hide The truth you fear Your demons are here And you fight them down You look in the mirror To find your ground. In the fateful night You soon realise The truth of your soul Burning inside. That's the time You open your eyes Unravel thy power Residing deep inside!
