One proper use of Nuclear Energy by the Islamic Republic of Iran!

Iranian Atomic Energy Organization applies nuclear techniques to control Horticultural pests. It is declared by the information source of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization that the first step of releasing sterilized flies based on the technique (Sterile Insect Technique) has completed successfully in the north of Iran. In this method, having been sterilized by nuclear radiation, male flies are returned to the fields. Mating of these male flies by female insects will not contribute to spawning. This method of sterilization is considered to be environmentally friendly by the World Atomic Energy Organization.
