Find Out Who Are The Highest-Paid Female Athletes In The World?

Female Tennis stars ruled Forbes 2020 list of highest-paid female athletes. Nine of the top ten athletes were Tennis sensations while rank 10 was bagged by Alex Morgan, co-captain US women's national football team.

Naomi Osaka, a Japanese Tennis player tops the list followed by Serena Williams. The 22-year-old Osaka made $3.4 million in prize money and $37.4 million from sponsors in 2019. Williams with $4 million prize money and $32 million endorsements secured second place. Ashleigh Barty, was in the third position with $4.4 million prize money last year.

Naomi Osaka in 2018 became Japan's first Grand Slam singles champion (man or woman) after defeating Serena Williams in US Open.

According to Forbes among all tennis players, only Roger Federer made more than Osaka from endorsements.
