France urged it's nationals not to travel to Iran

France asked its citizens to leave Iran or introduce themselves to the embassy


The French Foreign Ministry issued a statement urging its citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran due to volatile security conditions in the region and to leave the country or report to the French embassy. Due to the highly unstable security situation in the region, it is officially recommended that French nationals not travel to Iran," France wrote in a statement on Tuesday, August 5. Recalling the growing prevalence of the Coronavirus in recent months in Iran, the French Foreign Ministry announced that the issuance of tourist visas at the French embassy in Tehran had been suspended since August 1.
