My suitcase is packed again, and this time I don’t want this vacation to end. I say this after every trip, and that’s probably the best part of my job. After returning from every trip, I carry a bucket filled with memories of that place. Rishikesh – is, however, the best trip I had. Firstly because of river rafting and secondly because it was my first ever solo trip and hence with the gushing water all around me and splashes of water drenching my body and mind is something that had charged me up and pumped my adrenaline. To travel is to be free. To travel is to seek the unknown. To travel is to look beyond our own walls. We humans seek knowledge. Now, this knowledge could be hidden in the worn out pages of old books or it may be hidden in the shadows of the dark woods.
With a glut of rivers within reach, India is undoubtedly becoming the hotspot for river rafting. Hence the best place to enjoy this adventure sport in Rishikesh. If you are living in Delhi, Rishikesh is an ideal weekend destination for you. If you visit Rishikesh, you will surely experience the flavours of the city like the hustle and bustle, the temples, ashrams and the yoga centres. The city would give you a blissful experience. If you are only going for river rafting, then let me tell you that tourism has many operators who can arrange for the river rafting packages. I am sure you are wondering why do people go gaga over river rafting in Rishikesh.

Perhaps, you can meet with strangers and get along with them in river rafting. The thrill of the sport is best experienced, and the untamed waves of the great Ganges as you raft through the pristine waters will surely give you an unforgettable experience.
2. Unblemished adventure
Rafting has gained a lot of popularity over the years. The Himalayan water offers tourists a great opportunity to the rafters and the novices. The thrill of the untamed waves, while you are rafting, would surely purify your body and soul. Hence rafting is considered as one of the most thrilling adventures and is there in everyone’s bucket list.
3. The bewitching Ganges
The Rishikesh rafting is somewhat a dream for many. It is not just an adventure but acts like meditation as it nourishes your soul and reconnects with your inner being moderate levels. The rafting team can never fail to please you because it offers with many choices from advanced to beginner level. There is something for everyone.
4. Time to shut down all your fears
If you are scared of the height or the water, then it’s a good chance that you will able to discover yourself and conquer all fears. The best way to overcome fear is to face it. River rafting looks scary, but if you put on the protective gear and follow the instructions, then you can experience a memory of a lifetime.
