I walked The Path

There was me happy,

Being with my soul.

I had everything,

When I was alone.

Then life pushed me,

To walk a path.

But I was glad,

I had to walk alone.

Few steps forward,

And I was proud of me.

But who never told me,

There were nights as well.

Sunshine left me,

So came the crystal glow.

Doubtful in the silence,

Then pebbles started hitting me slow.

Each step as it was finishing now,

But the pebbles became rocks then,

And the clouds hid the glow,

It felt as if the darkness matched my soul.

The nights are longer,

And sadness lasts forever as well.

Tears flow of failure,

Reaching the end was so tough then.

I thought of giving up,

But my dark soul wasn't giving up.

So, I walked again,

Waiting for the sun to come up.

I missed myself a lot,

But I liked the silence in the dark,

U waited for the moment,

I'll say " I walked the path. "

A few more steps left,

Then came the gust and rain.

Pushed me down on my knees,

To take my efforts in vain.

Every second of giving up,

Rested on my soul,

I pushed my self again,

When the rain suddenly stopped.

And beyond the clouds,

There I saw the streak.

Hope of getting closer,

Was enough for the rest of it.

And here's this thing,

Glancing at what I crossed,

I'm proud of me,

That I walked the road.
