"Iran has put itself in a dangerous game"

America: Iran's presence in Latin America is not something to be welcomed

Following the release of opening images of Iran's first branch store in Caracas, the Venezuelan capital, Michael Kozak, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Latin American Affairs, called it an "alliance of rejected countries." He said Iran's presence in Latin America was not something the United States could welcome.

According to the Associated Press, the US State Department official said Iran had opened the department store in the Venezuelan capital knowing Caracas could not afford it. Iran is not able to save Venezuela from the situation it is in, and it has only put itself in a dangerous game by doing so.

Mr. Kozak's remarks at the opening of the Magasins store in Venezuela were described as "fruitless" when the news website of China Information and Internet Center, a state-owned media outlet in the country, posted the news of the store's opening on its news website on July 31. News agencies inside Iran quote its details; Including the location of the Iranian store warehouse between two major American chain stores, Home Depot and Costco in East Caracas.
