A phone call between the presidents of Iran and Lebanon; The shipment of Iranian aid arrived in Beirut
In a telephone conversation with Lebanese President Michel Aoun, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that the bombing of the port of Beirut was tragic for the Iranians and the Iranian people share the pain of the Lebanese people. According to the office of the President of Iran, Mr. Rouhani told Mr. Aoun, Whenever you need any help and support, the Iranian nation and government will be by your side and will not hesitate to cooperate with the Lebanese people.
According to the report, Mr. Rouhani has instructed the Iranian foreign and health ministers, as well as the head of the Red Crescent Society, to be in constant contact with their Lebanese counterparts to provide immediate assistance to the Lebanese people and meet their needs.
Meanwhile, the IRNA news agency reported an hour ago that the first food and health consignment of the Iranian Red Crescent Society consisting of 95 tons of food and medicine has arrived in Beirut along with a field hospital.
It is worth mentioning that there are several flood and earthquake-stricken areas in Iran that did not receive support from the Iranian government. The Iranian government has always put Iran under the shadow of some neighboring countries.
