Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta was born on March 28, 1986, in Yonker, New York City. The proud parents go by the name Cynthia and Joseph Germanotta. She adopted the name "Lady Gaga" which was an inspiration from Queen's song "Radio Ga Ga". She became a popular American singer, songwriter and actress. Gaga attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart, an all-girls Roman Catholic School, with her sister Natali. She confessed that her parents belonged to lower class family and how hard they worked for everything that she and her sister had been provided with.
Gaga started playing the piano at the age of four and she continued practising throughout her childhood. Her parents encouraged her to pursue music and enrolled her in Creative Arts Camp. She also studied method acting for ten years. She tried auditioning for New York shows but was unsuccessful although she did appear in an episode of The Sopranos. She often spoke about her inclination towards music and how music came naturally to her mind. She studied music at NYU's Tisch School of the arts. However, she withdrew during the 2nd Semester of her sophomore year to focus on her music career.
Gaga's Debut Album, The Fame was a huge success, and the single "Poker Face" topped charts in almost every category, in more than half of the countries. She earned a lot of fame and love from her friends, family and fans after the release of her subsequent albums over the years. She has worked with Tony Bennett, Lady Starlight and Bradley Cooper on pop and electronic music. This heinous act affected her for years before she finally opened up about it to her family and to the media in 2014. She has suffered from Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) because of her past.
The Lady has a weird public image where there are people who support and admire her as well as critiques who think that her claim of rape and PTSD are nothing but a way of gaining publicity. Just because she didn't talk about the rape and couldn't muster up the courage to file a complaint, haters think that all of her past and the rape, everything is fake.
Despite listening to these ridiculous comments, she always gives a mind-blowing come back and she never stays silent. She answers all the claims for and against her with utmost honesty and boldness. Lady Gaga is a big inspiration to the quitters. She never gave up even after going through shit. She didn't consider herself unworthy or ugly, she loved herself equally throughout her life. Salute to such a modest and strong lady.
Here's quoting a beautiful song written and sung by Lady Gaga on the topic of rape. It's called "Till it happens to you"...
"You tell me it gets better, it gets better in time You say I'll pull myself together, pull it together You'll be fine Tell me what the hell do you know What do you know Tell me how the hell could you know How could you know"
"Hold your head up and be strong 'Cause when you fall, you gotta get up You gotta get up and move on Tell me, how the hell could you talk How could you talk? 'Cause until you walk where I walk It's just all talk"
"'Til your world burns and crashes 'Til you're at the end, the end of your rope 'Til you're standing in my shoes, I don't wanna hear nothing from you From you, from you, 'cause you don't know"
