The cheapest currency
The Iranian regime has come a long way to turn Iranian currency to the cheapest one in the world. The slogan “ Death to America” chanted by the Iranian government since the 1979 revolution has flared up the tensions between the US and Iran. This long-standing animosity marked the beginning of the end for the Iranians’ prosperity. But there was found to be a turning point in the Iran US relationship the nuclear deal reached in 2015. It boosted Iran's economy, but since Trump has left the nuclear deal and imposed heavy sanctions on Iran, it prompted many oil companies to withdraw from Iran.
Consequently, oil production declined dramatically, and now Iran oil export nearly has reached zero. It is considered to be a total disaster for the oil-based economy. It is a time of great depression in Iran. Barely, is life affordable for many Iranians. This economic depression, along with the Corona, has cast a shadow on Iranians life and standard of living slipped. The massive devaluing of the Iranian currency has sparked off riots in some cities of Iran. Iranians ask the government to take emergency actions to mitigate the economic crisis. Among cities protesting the regime in Behbahan. Security forces used tear gas and shooting to stop the protesters and arrested some of them. Their slogan was No Ghaza No Lebanon, only Iran. In recent years the Iranian government has bestowed too much money to Hezbollah. The money has always been tight for the many Iranians vociferous opponents of allocating most of our financial resources to neighbouring countries.
Ethnic minorities under pressure
Bahais are one of the ethnic minorities who have always been vehemently rejected by the Iranian regime. They are deprived of entering the university. They have to stop their businesses. Strictly speaking, life is illegal for them. They receive harsh penalties. The only reason for all these drastic measures is that they are not Muslim! Since the Islamic republic empowerment, more than 200 Bahaeis have been executed.
Narges Mohammadi an Iran female activist in custody
Narges Mohammadi is an Iranian female activist who spent many years in jails. The Iranian regime has broadcasted a phoney video showing she has access to medication and a doctor. But in reality, she does not have access to a doctor. While she suffers from lung embolism and muscle paralysis, she is kept in jail without ventilation and proper sanitation. It has been 11 months since the last time she was allowed to call her children living in France. Shirin Ebadi (an Iranian noble peace prize winner) has condemned Iran intelligence service for the intention of killing Narges Mohammadi.
