“Mavayna Manav (Mansi)” is a motivated young humanitarian who decided to dedicate her life to empower women, taking up causes which aims at improving the lives of women and children. However, she believes in passing the torch of self-awareness and self-love through positive and motivating discussions on female health and menstrual hygiene. She is currently pursuing Graduation from Delhi University, India. Mavayna has conceptualized the idea of PADYATRA, which aims at making menstrual hygiene a part of the mainstream discussion among women and girls, specifically among economically weaker society. She hopes youth, across regional and linguistic divide will come together in fighting the menstrual taboo thereby paving way to healthy discussions on female hygiene.
Mavayna in her words, "Had fought misogyny, stereotypes, and cognitive dissonance to get where she is today." Her life is an example that when life throws lemons at you, better make some lemonades!
